Wendt Open House 2020

EVERY TWO YEARS IN THE SAME PLACE – WENDT OPEN HOUSE

Once again, the Wendt Open House 2020 took place in Bergheim, Germany, at A. Wendt GmbH (Zieh-Fix). This event is held every two years at the end of winter and focuses on innovations in professional opening tools, automotive electronics, and various seminars. It also includes a competition in impressioning.

As members of ACL and representatives of Locksmith CZ, we attended not only to observe but also to test the latest professional decoders for automotive locks, safe locks, and specialized manipulation tools for opening lock cylinders. All the latest tools on the market worked flawlessly and are intended exclusively for specialists, locksmiths, and government agencies.

Lectures and Workshops

The lectures and workshops at the event were highly engaging. Alejandro Ojeda from Urban Alps AG introduced us to the patented Stealth technology, based on 3D printing with high-quality metals. Peter Field once again impressed us with another unique piece from his lock collection. Ivaylov presented new automotive lock decoders. Several presentations focused on electronics, diagnostics, and car chip tuning. Torsten Quast from the German lockpicking organization SSDEV delivered fascinating talks, including: “Why is lockpicking the perfect hobby?” Enrico Wendt showcased a new electric pick, which is among the best on the market. And, of course, there was much more to discover!

A Weekend Full of Learning and Connections

This weekend provided us with new knowledge and experiences in locksmithing and lockpicking, as well as the opportunity to meet new friends who share our vision and goals. We look forward to seeing everyone again this fall at LockFest 2020 , held at Hotel Thermal in Karlovy Vary. You have a lot to look forward to!
