As in the previous year, the Czech Lockpickers Association held its annual Christmas party for its members in 2018. The gathering took place with a great turnout, providing not only an opportunity for friendly conversations but also a space for discussions about the upcoming year and the association’s plans.
The evening was a blend of tradition and innovation. Members brought homemade delicacies, each contributing something special. The table was filled with homemade Nutella and apricot donuts, traditional Czech potato salad, schnitzels, and other treats. A delightful surprise was the Christmas cookies shaped like keys, symbolizing the connection between the holiday season and the art of locksmithing. A mini lockpicking competition was once again part of the event, allowing members to test their skills in opening locks. The competition was friendly, filled with fun, and featured many exciting moments. Additionally, there was a popular raffle with valuable prizes donated by the association’s partners and sponsors. During the evening, an important meeting took place, where plans for the upcoming year were discussed. Key topics included organizing future competitions, participating in international events, and expanding the association’s activities.
At the end of the gathering, members wished each other a Merry Christmas and a successful start to the new year, 2019. The entire evening was filled with a great atmosphere, and everyone is already looking forward to next year’s traditional event.
